Terms & Conditions

Minimum Order
  • IDS Furniture, Inc. sells wholesale to the trade only. We are strictly set up to sell to retailers and designers who plan to resell our products.
  • Orders require minimum amounts be purchased, as well as other requirements listed here.
  • Please contact us directly to learn more about opening an account. A representitive will request business credientials and trade references from your company, and then further explore your options of having an account with us.
  • Pricing is based on the minimum order placed at the time of account opening.
  • An item's price is determined by the highest grade of fabric used on the item.
  • All prices are listed in US dollars on our current price list.
Fabric & Wood Samples
  • Stocking dealer account: Current set of fabric samples is provided free of charge with minimum opening order
  • Wholesale account: Current set of fabric samples are $200 after opening order is placed (optional purchase)
  • Updates: Fabric and wood sample updates will only be mailed out annually.
  • Dealers must purchase a minimum amount of goods annually to receive updates free of charge.
  • If a dealer does not meet this requirement, they may purchase updates.
  • Up to 10 memo swatches will be sent out free of charge. After the 10th fabric sample, a credit card will be required for a charge of $25. This can be applied as a credit when the order is placed.
COM Information (Customer's Own Material)
  • Please refer to our current price list to determine the price of an item when a customer is providing fabric for any section of the furniture.
  • Please see a copy of our COM POLICY before placing an that will use COM.
  • Once fabric and yardage amount is approved, a copy of our COM FORM needs to be completed, signed, and sent with any COM.
  • If you do not have a copy of these forms, you may request them via email.
  • We do not offer any credit or terms.
  • A 50% deposit is required when an order is placed.
  • The balance (as well as any applicable cartoning charges) will be due prior to shipping.
  • All fabric purchases must be paid in full prior to shipping.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, in addition to a business check.
  • Please note: These are the payment terms of IDS Furniture, Inc. If you are a consumer, these terms DO NOT apply to you. Please consult your local retailer on their store payment requirements, which will apply to you.
Conditions of Sale
  • In addtion to having these conditions listed here, customers can also find them at the bottom of every invoice.
  • Special orders not subject to cancellation.
  • Buyer agrees to accept possession of merchandise delivered in good order.
  • When notified order is ready for shipment/pick-up, if within 10 days of notificiation Buyer does not take possession
    or remit balance due for goods, IDS Furniture, Inc. may cancel order, which will result in forfeiture of deposit.
  • We exert our utmost effort to produce all goods as scheduled, but we are neither liable nor responsible for delays
    caused by shortage of materials, transportation delays and/or other causes beyond our responsible control.
  • Remittance of deposit serves as proof Buyer has read and agrees with all details stated on invoice.
  • IDS Furniture, Inc. will not drop ship orders to a residence.
  • IDS Furniture, Inc. only uses specific furniture carriers to help ensure the safety of goods during shipping. Under no circumstance, will IDS Furniture, Inc. ship with a common carrier.
  • Cartoning is included in the price of each item.
  • Freight is paid directly to the carrier.
  • While IDS Furniture, Inc. may provide customers with a freight quote upon request, no freight is EVER paid to IDS Furniture, Inc., nor is any freight included in our prices.
  • Any discounts we have with a carrier are passed directly on to our customers.
  • All orders will be shipped freight collect. The freight amount will be collected at the time of delivery. As a courtesy, please have a check waiting for the driver.
  • Customers are also welcome to pick up orders F.O.B., Dallas, TX, by appointment only.
Receiving Shipments
  • Any visible damage to cartons or items must be noted on the bill of lading before receiver accepts possesion of shipment, and the driver is allowed to leave.
  • All goods must be inspected within 24 hours of receipt from freight carrier, preferably as soon as possible.
  • Should any concealed damage be discovered at the time of inspection, the carrier should be notified immediately so that they can send a third party to assess the damage for freight claim purposes.
  • All packing material and merchandise should be left as is until inspected by the carrier or third party.
  • A freight claim should be made with them by you.
  • IDS Furniture, Inc. will not be liable for freight damages.
